Outros Filmes for the Urban Age South America conference, these films illustrate the city’s ongoing transformation and its recovery from once horrific levels of crime, as well as the formal and informal mechanisms which collectively support a thriving community. Testimony from the poor and middle-class residents, the unheard voice at the Urban Age conferences, detail the day-to-day experiences of living, working and moving in South America’s fastest growing and largest city.
