Four people live at the boxing academy under the Alcântara Machado overpass in Mooca, São Paulo. Hundreds use the make-shift training facility each week. In the early morning hours, one of the city’s leading newspapers collates the daily papers for delivery. Initiated to improve the living conditions for local residents, the boxing academy has become a fixture for a cross-section of Paulistanos and the city itself.
